Cedega costs $5 a month and supports many copy protections
There is a CVS version available for free but it does not have the licensed copy protection support.

loki installers for linux gamers
A company named loki created installers and contributed to easier game installs for Linux.
Unfortunately loki is no longer in business, but their legacy lives on.
This site provides fixed installers for Cedega for games with broken installers and native linux installers.
